I have gone through every phase of changing names. With VV1 I used family names. Then with VV2 I used native american names, actually doing research on the net to get authentic ones. Then I got lazy and just used whatever appealed to me. Lately I have been using the names that the game picks except for some of the more rediculous ones like Bobo and Titta. I hate those so I change them. The game loves to duplicate names so I change them too.

I usually only change the duplicate names. Sometimes I change names that I don't like. Generally though, I let the names alone.

My favorite letter is Q too! I have named villagers Quinn, Quimby, Quark, Quara, Quincy, Quita, and Quill.
What other "Q" names have you used?

My iPod nano also requested naming the first time I plugged it in.
I happen to know a young man with the unfortunate last name of Podd, so I borrowed his first name for my iPod(d).
He was not amused.

I gave my people last names so I could know who is related to whom.

I rename the first group. and maybe a few others if the names are just way to strange. but i rarely ever change the first letter. ex. city, becomes cindy. the odd little man with the name lelu, becomes lenny, or larry. depends on my mood.
