That's very odd, indeed. They really shouldn't do that. Is it only in that one game?

Yes it is only in the one game. It seems that almost every person, once they hit oh I don't know, 56, they start running away from thin air. I recently noticed it in the newest bunch of elders in the same game, especially my former tribe leader.

My other 2 games seem to be running smoothly without any of my untrained villagers embracing, or any unexplained runnings away.

maybe they decided to no longer follow the ways of the goddess....

Hmmm, been reading this last bit and do you remember me telling you about Horny Howie, well he had never had the pleasure before suddenly turning to twosomes and threesomes then refusing to work at all. Now I only have one game running, (its all I can handle LOL) its been going a while with nothing untoward happening until the above mentioned Howie. Since then there have been pacing up and down when it says fixing hut, a few odd kids refusing to pick mushies, a farmer swimming through the sand, and other things which have formerly been mentioned. Not being an officiando of how to create a game, what I have to say may sound a bit daft, even impossible, but could the program be deteriorating in some way?? I just can't understand how everything runs smooth for weeks and then they all start doing crazy things ??

if the file was corrupted it, it seems liek the game wouldn't run at all...unless you have been messing with the hex files

It's possible I suppose, but most the time when a savegame file gets corrupt you will see a lot of numbers changing, as in Tech points, number of births, the amount of berries on the bush and so on and usually not just one “item”. It will be interesting to see what LDW finds out about your "horny Howie" men.

Also, I've had people pace when doing things. For example, my kids will be trying to go to school but will only pace on one side of it. From my experience, I'd say that there might just be a graphic glitch, kinda like how they get stuck in other places.

Sorry, no hex juggling - can't even count my toes some mornings. Honestly and seriously the only cheating I know how to do is with the mushies and only after reading it on this forum. I then tried it to see if it was really possible but after I reverted to picking with only one kid. I believe cheating takes the fun out of games and of course there is always the fact that I just don't know how LOL!!
