This is list of how weather affect the villagers
Sunny day:help villagers can fish faster
Fine day:nothing special
Cloudly:Fish become bit harder to catch
Rain shower:crops grow bit faster
Heavy Rain:villagers will not catch fish at this time
Hail:Hail last for few seconds but it can damage the crops

Hail on a tropical island????

That's a bit much...I like the monkeys & parrots that tend to destroy the crops and stored food, along with heat and big waves, etc. It seems to fit better with the location. Just a thought.

hail can occur anywhere. its just frozen rain from way high up in the clouds. if texas can get hail in 100 degree weather (which we have) then the island could get hail as well.

i think the point is to have the weather affect productivity more than just in special island events

We get hail at all times in Oklahoma too..especially in "Tornado Alley" where I live...but I was born and raised on the Pacific coast and never saw hail until I moved here. It just seems to me that hail wouldn't be a problem in an area where the atmosphere is not condusive to that type of disturbance.
I agree that weather should effect productivity more and I would like to "see" it rain, storm, tsunami, or heat wave.

I wish sometimes instead of debries the giant waves would wash up something else. Like people from another island who got washed there while fishing, or food stores, or even dead bodies they then have to bury. Some sort of change from the wood.

Lol this is a kids game rated E for everyone I dont think washing up dead bodies would fit the genre to well.
