more area to work with like make a mountian and tell your villagers can go up the mountian and gather firewood or in some point in the game they become friends with a native tride and you can trade for stuff.

Hi, also, the villagers free will kinda bites. I choose a skill for my villagers and they end up doing whatever they want. As a result, I only have 25 villagers because nobody wants to build, I don't have the flowers from the dead flower field because nobody wants to water the field...is it me? why don't they do what you choose?
anyway, it is a great game.

I think that's is what makes this game great. Just like in real life, some villagers are lazy, some are hard workers, and some just want to play all day.

Also, if you breed using a master builder, chances are better that your infants will be pre-disposed to be builders. The same holds true for farmers, researchers, etc. After your infants are done nursing, check their details screen and most will already have a small disposition for one skill or another.

I don't want to write too much, because figuring all of this stuff out is what makes this game really enjoyable.

I don't have any problems with sounds, I just turn everything off-no one is bothered by my game playing that way.

My request/suggestion would be to have some type of finish after the puzzles are all completed, say a pop up screen saying congratulations with an option to contine the game or re-start.

Thats my 2 cents worth...

I would like to see the villagers build some kind of pipeline between the well and the crops so that water can flow and water the garden. It is taking too much time to water the crops.

At first I thought that the "Details" screens were in order by age, but after I have quite a few villagers the order gets kind of random, with pockets of youngsters among the oldies. It would be handy to have it in order so you could check out just the kids, or who is getting weak from old age, and so on.

Ideally it would also be nice to be able to search for a name; you can locate a particular villager by paging through them, but when you have upwards of 65 villagers it's time-consuming, especially when you are frantically looking for your best healer (who just happens to look like seven other villagers).

Those are great ideas and other people have also expresseed an interest in these things!! Arthur is currently working on fixes so maybe we'll get lucky!

I'd like to see a log/journal feature, where important events are automatically recorded to a text file. It would be nice to look back over a game and remember how it all played out.

It could include: births, deaths, tech level increases, island events (and any other important stuff I haven't stumbled across yet in my few days with the game!)

It could be organized by year, e.g.:
Year 5: Births: Pogo, Gonzo. Deaths: Niknik. Tech advances: Harvesting level 2, Fertility level 2. Puzzles solved: 2, 4, 5.

Or it could be just a running list with each event in the order of occurence.

Already, just a little ways in to the game, I would like to be able to look back and remember just when my farm started working and what year my dear friend Malik died.

I don't want to sound picky but I would like to see the farm and fishing skills separated. Some of those little buggards refuse to work what I want them to and they do their own things, like water the crop instead of fishing for food. It would be nice to be able to control that.

(thats just me, I don't know if someone else mentioned that or not.. ^^;;)

I have had two villagers of the same sex go "inside"... it's only happend once.. but it was a bit surprising! And I have seen three of them go "inside"... as well as 2 couples.....
