Yes! \:\) but this event is a little dangerous! It could be some bad things inside the hole as ants... \:8

Yes I have. I was very uneasy about investigating, but I did, and fortunately nothing bad came of it.

I got the "Taken the children" event yesterday, and was confused when I saw that my tribe was still at 113, and all of the children were STILL THERE .... who did they take? I still had two ladies with babies, and 17 children, from ages 3-12, so who did they take? LOL. I can't attribute it to time away passage, since I visit the tribe every night, at least to keep the "home fires burning", and I have it set to 1/2 time.

The most common cause for a lack of Island Events is that the computer's system clock has been adjusted (intentionally or not). You can see one player's experience (after his mother changed the computer's clock) here.

That happened to me as well. I even have a screenshot of it...Here's the event saying that the children had been taken and there's clearly a child hanging around the fire just above the event pop up!

Sometimes I open my game in the morning before going to work at 7ish am if I forgot to put a villager to put wood on fire I always get an island event, even though I had event the night before. Sometimes this can be annoying if it is a bad event 3/4 of my villagers get sick from a dead parrot, so between eating my porrage, I got to get the doctors to heal them they always seem to be sick. I then get the child to heal 3 or 4 of the doctors, then I leave the doctors to it.

I just got the island event where the pesky, annoying parrot knocks things over at the tech table .... what almost knocked ME right off my CHAIR, was how much tech points it took ....

OW, OW, OW, ... WOW, WOW, WOW!!!!!!!

Thank goodness it doesn't affect how many CUMULATIVE tech points you have in the stats!!!

I agree...otherwise we both would have been in a lot of pain with this island event. Mine took about 800,000 or 8 million tech points.

(I forget how many numbers there were in the screenshot I have and not sure if I'm going to be able to recover the screenshot either. Home puter crashed. \:\( )
