Just had a very nasty event, something similar to pest, making the food in the food bin and all crops & coconuts rot away.
Had zero food in the end - sigh.

I had a child who liked playing with blocks but the adults thought she should be "taking her place at the research table" in which I let her play and she gained alot of building skills

I got this in the start of game and investigated and my 1 adult male disappeared into the bush never to be seen again.

I had the same event, and I tried letting him apprentice at the table. He gained a little bit of research skill, but went back to his block-playing. I believe you chose the better option, MonkeiMom.

I just had an event where some of my villagers left (the strongest and youngest) to go explore the south side. I think 15 total left. I wonder if they're coming back..

Oh my... That's a lot of villagers... That'd be nearly half my population! I hope they do come back, but somehow I doubt it...

(I came back to frozen Canada after exploring the south, and to this day wish I hadn't...)
