My main problem is that you seem to advocate warping your way through the game, and while your particular program(s) may not be harmed fooling around with the system clock, many are, and younger children that read this forum and play the game may take your words to heart and warp their way through the game and not only end up with dead villagers, but mess up programs that their parents spend money on to ensure the safety of their home computers.
Warp away if you want to, you are an adult, and you pay to maintain your own computer and its programs. But please stop advocating it as the way to enjoy the game. If children start playing with the system clock it can and will mess up not only the game, but other programs that parents spend money on.
Perhaps your mother may not have succeeded in teaching you patience, but other things in your life, including games, may be more successful at it.
