It is a frequently requested feature. It will probably make its way into the game at some point.

The extended screen would be nice for both the T3 and the T5.

the updates should just add on so you don't have to start over. the new versions should not restart a currntgame ether. maby they will be a different priogram but still village sim so you have two games.

I do really agree!
I'd really like to see 320 x 480, more 'details' on the detail screen (what are they doing now).
The 'how much longer are they nursing, or even how long hae they been nursing' is a great idea.
And the breakdown of skills and ages would be VERY helpful.
It could let you know that you will soon have all your farmers become elderly, or even die.

And a review of events would be great as well, like when you turn on your game in the morning after having it run all night.

Is there any indication when the update will be complete?

Thanks very much,

d

This is a picky improvement, but it would be nice to see more flowers in the garden that are reminiscent to Plant Tycoon. I mean it is Isola after all, right? Right now there only seems to be 2 kinds with different colors. This is just a suggestion

Yes, this is the island of Isola. The villagers catch fish and have a flower garden. It seems like a natural idea to have fish from Fish Tycoon and plants from Plant Tycoon in the game.

I've previously advocated some kind of link between games. Perhaps the fish the villagers catch can provide more food if you've discovered certain breeds in Fish Tycoon. Stuff like that.

1. )Like many others said, detailed tombstones would be great. For better remembering them it would also be nice to get more information on the dead villager's life when you click on them:
- dying age
- skill levels
- children, parents
- important events in their lives (i.e. bottles drunken)

2.) I would like to see some kind of date, maybe the virtual year after starting the colony.

3.) Usage of the cursor buttons for scrolling around, selecting and so on.

4.) Some more options for time-control:
- Speed setting "VERY fast" so it's no more necessay to fiddle with the clock
- An option to automatically switch to "pause" if someone gets ill or other serious thing happen. So you can run the village at night without any bad surprise at the next morning.

5.) More things to discover

Of course most other proposals were nice, too! :-)

Holger

Don't know if anybody here is the klutz that I am... but TWICE I've lost my whole game by missing the "Start a new game" button and stupidly replying yes when asked if I'm sure. If the Start a new game could be at the bottom of the list instead of just below the "continue game" line, it probably wouldn't have happened.
Thanks,
Sally

This doesn't help with the menu layout, but if that ever happens again you can recover your old game by immediately hitting soft reset on your Palm (without exiting the game). When you launch Village Sim again, your old game will be loaded. Since the game is saved only when you exit to another app or the launcher, your old game won't be overwritten.
