Are you sure that you didn't make a mistake typing your email address? It's working fine for me, and we get a lot of requests, so it seems to be working. Please try again and see if you get an error.

Ack, this thread is so full of comments I can't find if any new information has been added since the first lot. Has it?

We never said that the GC would "disappear," so there's really nothing to explain. Arthur did say that the sequel will begin where Virtual Villagers leaves off and a careful examination of the sketches at the beginning of this thread provides some clues about what's coming.

The preview pictures are interesting, as are the comments about them.

Why are kids outside the cave instead of inside? Is there significance to there being one male and one female inside, or does that just make a prettier picture? Is there a ray of light coming from the cave ceiling? If so, is it magic? I can't wait to learn the answers to these questions. When's that game going to be ready again? Last I recall reading, you said hopefully before Christmas - or was it just one of addicts who said that?

VV is a pretty small game, only 16 MB, with low system requirements - will the same be true of VV2?

I am not quite certain whether I like the preview pictures or not. The current VV is so well balanced between cartoon and human characteristics, it will be a hard act to follow. That vulnerable cuteness is one of the reasons why the game is so popular I think.

I wouldn't like the new VV to be too "human" if that makes any sense! But fewer of the baldies and "smudge" faced men would be very acceptable, haha!!

Just a thought,
Best of Irish,
Maura

i really like the first rednition of the drawing better...at least of the people in the drawing...the second doesn't seem like it fits with the spirit of the game for some reason

Here is another sneak peek. This time is about the real villagers. As you see, we will keep the same kind of art for them! We will, though, have some new clothes and new hair styles. (The first image that we showed you, is for the intro story screen only.)

the gameshot looks great!!

My earlier comment about the story screen drawings still stands though. The charactrers in the first one seem fresh and innocent. The second...not so innocent...

I really like the water, and there are some cute sprites, too.
