I agree, that there are a lot of stickies (plus some global announcements etc..). I will see what I can do.

I am testing new icon colors. This is what I have changed so far:

The icons of the newthreads, newposts and newfolders, moved arrow, jump to arrow: blue
The sticky icon and announcement: red
The poll icon: green

What do you guys think?

Blue is much better for the new threads, posts and folders! The yellow/gold was just two hard to see. As well as the red, although that was not a big problem for me.

Thanks!

I made the blue a bit more blue ( i think it was more towards lila-blue first). Now what is bothering me is that the new posts (in the first page) are the same color as the game guides books.

Could always try the game guide books as a forest green color like your link color. Green seems to mesh well in small doses on this site. Thats what id try.

tried green. In general i don't like to use all the colors of the rainbow, but I like to stick to a few colors.
My general feeling was -though- that using blue for the newposts and blue for the guides, could have been misread or even gone unnoticed, like if it's part of the design, but I could be wrong.

i know what you mean from a web developers standpoints. A website in general should have no more than 3 main colors at most and most other colors should be close shades of the original 3. I like the tropical color scheme of this website.

These are the colors of our logo (yellow/orange). Customers should identify immediately the official websites of a company from the looks and colors. \:\)
