I noticed that the painting on the cave wall shows villagers falling down a waterfall and the clues hint about some villagers going to another part of the island. Does the trench on the left side of the screen have anything to do with this? It looks like the dark patch in the water on the left side of the lagoon (under the first flower on the left from the top of the screen) could lead to the trench. The map shows more island that we do not currently use and it looks like someone is standing in the middle of it (maybe the blinking eyes?). I'm on an old IBM laptop and my graphic card isn't the greatest so I might be seeing things. LOL

I dont think the timing is correct either in the game or on my laptop. Somehow i havent touched my game in over 3 weeks at 2x speed, and when i turn the game on...only about 15 people are dead and i still have 77 villagers. Real hours played is 1374 because its my original game started the week of the games release, but yet i only have 400 babies. On the leader board someone with less hours than me by about 50 hours has 1700 babies. Now how is this possible unelss a time somewhere is not working right. Or does the game stop and pause if your away for more than say a few days??? Just curious.

The leaderboard should be made able to reorder by clicking the top bars like in excell . I want to get on there somehow but i never will by babies at this rate.

If I remember correctly, there is a safety net that kicks in if you have not run the program in over a week. What I think it does is only update your game x amount of days, thereby saving your village. I'm sure BB will correct me if I'm wrong, but that is what I remember, and it seems to do that in some of my older games.

I have reached my 90 people and have my idol. I have not gotten a golden child so I hold my breath with each death and birth. I can't find any way to start the treasure hunt or to open the cave. I have all my tech items purchased. Help!

The game ends...at 90 villagers. If VV2 is coming out will you have to buy it again or just upgrade cos every screen shot has 100+ population?

Ive been playing the game for a while now. Im not interested in cheeting, just in seeing where the game leads me...
I had one villager find a scroll, and disappear down a path... I dont think hes ever returned.. Has anyone else had this event happen... ? probably..
Im hoping that as we proceed with the game, more events will happen slowly...Maybe even take us further along with ALL the Island.. WHO knows.. Im sure not finding all my answers here.. ARE Any of you ?

Just drag one of the villagers and drop him/her into the cave opening and see what happens.
