I haven't had anything negative in the three villages I have going. The only ones I said no to were the eyes staring out of the forest. That one sounded like bad news, but for all I know it could have given a zillion tech points.

It's where it is for a reason. It's a list for the Palm version of the game (Village Sim) and the Island Events have changed significantly for Virtual Villagers.

a new one I just had was a "troubled child" he wasn't interested in normal children activities so the game let me choose to have him try research or farming, I picked research and he is now an "aprentice" has full research at 11 years old.

Argh! Well, thanks anyway ladycfii. It's not that it would "help" me, I would just like to know what could happen. I know it's not a guarantee to what will happen and I would take my chances with the event anyway, it just makes me feel better about taking one at all if I know what the possible outcomes are. I would be perfectly willing to make a list, if people will send me the exact outcomes they are receiving from the island events. I've only gotten 2 and I've been playing for almost 120 hours now & I didn't take either one. *sigh*

I just had one that gave one village an extra 1000 tech points. Since they are working on the level 3s, it was most welcome.

I'm really scared to grow my villages beyond 12-13 peeps until I have enough tech points in Science and Medicine. I hate having anyone on maternity leave. Then again, I guess I should let one of those poor women sit down now and then.

the funniest one I have had was two in a row. One drank something and went from 21 to 12. Than the silly guy ate a berry and lost all the skills he had.

I have had 4 events apparently, but nothing like any of what you all are describing! THREE times monkeys came and ransacked my research table. Why am I not getting any of the good stuff??
