Thanks Barbara. I've read every post on the board- For such an addictive game, I'd think there'd be more activity, but they're probably all playing Fish Tycoon! My husband thinks I'm nuts. I already have one of the magic fish types another poster was obviously searching for. I'm off to try your hints for the Golden Guppy of Isola!

How old before fish can be examined and bred/sold. I have 12 tear old fish and the game wont let me examine them.

Fish become adult at age 20, when you can examine them with the species button, breed them and/or sell them. How long they are pregnant depends on game speed, but it's normally less than 1/2 hour of real clock time.

It depends on game speed. I haven't timed it for every setting.

Hello all.. I am a HUGE noob at the game, but in playing I have had a few thoughts for future versions of the game..

1. With Baby fish that were breeded, since they all look the same before age 6 perhaps if you put them in the isolation tank, maybe it can just show the parent info until age 20.

2. In the species screen it would be nice if there was a way to see what type of fish the parents are/were instead of just a picture.

I think those are my suggestions for now... I do have to say though that I am REALLY addicted to the game!!!
