The Steam version contains different features to that of the mobile (Android and iOS) and premium (Windows and Xbox) versions, and doesn't feature any live events (such as the Lunar New Year resort renovation you're referring to).

Additionally, the version you're playing has a slightly different economy than the other versions, and the tent has remained a key feature that Steam players are using every day!
