Ok, so my son married a beginner programmer 2 years ago. 2 years later and she is still a beginner with not even a hint of progressing any further at all. Not a smidgen of colour in her career bar. She keeps bombing out. Or she just stops and decides to have a nap, or read the newspaper, or do the laundry or something....
I have tried praising her and giving her sweets when she works but this does nothing. I have bought everything available to upgrade the office and try to make her work easier. Nothing. Lazy woman. No work ethics at all. Husband works his fingers to the bone. I am waiting for a workshop manual to come up in the Flea Market but 2 years on.... nothing. I have even tried to make her a baby factory but she's refusing this as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there! She sounds stubborn! Keep dropping her at the computer until her behavior label says “Working on career.” When she successfully finishes her work cycle, drop her at the computer to work again. Do this over and over again until you see some progress in her progress bar. Every time she’s unsuccessful in completing a work cycle, have her start another one. A Workshop career magazine will not help her since she works in the Office.

You can also buy her a career change by tapping the “Upgrade Me” button on her details screen and scrolling to that option. The first few career options will also be office professions, but with enough career change purchases for her, kitchen and workshop careers (if you have a workshop built) will also be offered.

Good luck! Feel free to update us on her progress! smile
