I've just lost a child for the very first time

Nobody in my families in the virtual universe (VF, VF Light, VF2) has ever died except in old age.

His name was Piccolo, he was just 16. He is survived by his parents, his twin brother, Grego, and a little sister. They are all depressed but there's not much I can do. Seeing as I'm playing on an android, I can only have one family at a time, so my normal VF game has a family, then I decided to reinstall the VF Light so I can have more than one family going. Piccolo was a 2nd generation from the family on the Light version, so I couldn't do anything but watch him die

The game has to be changed to allow more than one family for androids as well, or to allow the purchase of medicine in the VF Light. I would honestly pay to have multiple families in the full version.

The issue has been explained elsewhere as a problem of how much processing the handheld devices can handle. The games are big, and one way to tighten up the size was to eliminate multiple families. IOW, you might be willing to pay for multiple families but your device might not be able to handle them.

So sorry about the passing of a kid. It does happen from time to time and it's human nature to have the gut reaction that it isn't right. Try giving the survivors fruit, praising them, keeping them fed and active. I have no idea what works, other than time, and am not familiar with what's available in the Lite version, but they'll probably get over it. It would be interesting to see if Grego is programmed to stay depressed longer than the sister or parents.

maybe when or if fan fiction opens up, you could write a story bout it!

He got itchy and it never went away. who would have thought. I certainly wouldn't have thought it would kill him. I just kept Jim in bed and brought him out for mealtimes.

Aviatrix, thanks, love that outfit too. No you can't give them fruit or anything besides food, but it's a light version I understand. I usually look for a similar post before creating one, I may have missed it, so I created one under suggestions and wrote here. Hope the mods aren't mad. I admit, I overreacted a wee bit. *blush

I also hope it won't happen often, because this way at least I have more than one game. I wish had seen your post earlier and experimented to see how long Grego stayed depressed, but I praised him and the rest of his family for EVERYTHING so the depression didn't tale long. Gregos dad sent me an email two years later I guess he was still sad. I saved it. I will try attach it.

I chose Gregory to continue. He has a wife, and three kids: a boy, and twin boys that look exactly like him and his brother!
