Courtesy of LadyCFII:Note: If you just want to "reset" a house malfunction or other condition (like groceries or meals on the table) to make it go away temporarily, you should completely quit the game, using the Exit option. The next time you open the game, it will be gone (but there might be a new one, since they occur randomly).
- For Windows computers, click on the "X" in the upper right corner of the game window or click on Menu, Exit, then Quit from within the game.
- For Mac computers, simultaneously press Command and Q, or click on Menu, Exit, then Quit from within the game.
Here are answers to some common questions about how to do things in Virtual Families 2:1.
How to sell furniture and other decor items:To sell furniture and other decor items, with the Decor tray open, drag the furniture you want to sell to the area outside the front gate. Green colored text will come up above the item and will tell you the price you will get for it. Example: Sell for 22. If you're happy with that price then drop the item and it will be gone and the coins will be added to the family bank. Don't expect to get the full price of the item. If you decide not to sell it then don't drop it. Put the item back into the house or in your decor tray. Once sold you cannot retrieve the item but you can repurchase it from the store.
