No, the game is currently limited to 6 children. You can, however, wait a few "game years" between children so that there can still be a child in the house when the adults are older.

You mentioned that the issue you were having with your game has occurred more than once. It would be a great help if you could try to make it happen again, and tell me step by step what you did, so that I can look into it. You can post your results as a "Reply" to this message or you're welcome to send me a Private Message (PM). smile

I'd like to ask you for a little more information about this problem, so that we can look into it, if that's OK with you.

What kind of iOS device are you playing VF2 on (iPod touch, iPhone, iPad), and about how long have you had the device?

Has this problem been happening since you installed the game, or did it work properly at first?

If you perform the following procedure, does the game start working properly again?

1) Hold the Sleep/Wake button on your device until the red slider appears, then slide to power off.
2) After the device has powered off, hold the Sleep/Wake button again until the Apple logo appears
3) Once the device is completely powered on, launch the game again and see if the game operates properly

Thanks so much for that information. One other thing that would be helpful would be to know how many apps are currently resident in memory. You can find that for us by taking the following steps:

- Double-tap the home button, which will open the multi-task bar
- You will see 4 app icons displayed at the bottom of the screen, and the home screen will be dimmed. Count the number of app icons there are in the multi-task bar. You can slide the 4 visible ones to the left (by swiping them with your finger) to reveal the next 4 apps icons; continuing to do that until you get to the end and let us know how many total icons are in the multi-task bar.
- Open Safari and examine the little icon in the lower right that looks like two pages stacked together. If there is a number there, please let me know what that number is (it will be between 2 and 8 ).

Thanks again for working with us!

That's quite a few apps resident in memory at once, and depending upon the total memory installed in your device, it can lead to unpredictable behavior. The memory we're talking about here is RAM, or application memory, not the 8 GB - 64 GB that you see when you check Usage in settings or the number that is printed on the back of your device .

If you wouldn't mind trying something, it would help us determine what might be causing the issue you're seeing. Please try the following procedures and let us know if the game starts acting more normally:

Launch Safari and tap the icon with the number of open pages (the one you indicated that showed six). On the next screen, tap the 'x' on each open page to close all Web pages (tabs) to free up memory, then press the Home button. Do the same for other browser applications you may be running.

Next, access the multi-task bar by double-tapping the Home button. Press and hold one of the icons until you see badges with a dash appear in the upper left corner of each icon. Tap the red badge for each application to close all of them. Each of those apps occupies a certain amount of RAM. Although they are not actually running and don't have a direct effect on device performance, the cumulative memory that they occupy can result in causing other apps to have problems due to low memory conditions.

Please let us know if this helps. smile

The genetics are not the same as they were in the original VF, so you will see more variations in appearance.
