I had a kid in the first family(which amazingly had the same name of my dog, Flicker) that was always depressed. No matter what I did he was depressed. When it came time for him to take in the 2nd gen, he was depressed as well. What causes this and what is the best way to combat it?

I had a child like that as well, what I did was use the psychotherapy that you can buy in the detail page where it says upgrade by the persons picture.
