I played VV2 on the PC, and on the iPad/iPod I played VV2, VV3, and VF.

Only ONE of the collectible sets ever completed on the ap versions; that's one for each game. I played VF four times - each time for about four months - and only completed the coins once, and once in VV2 I got a complete set. But that was it.

When I played VV2 on the PC I completed three of them before I quit playing.

Those odds aren't too great...so are the ipad/ipod versions set to never complete?

Or is it just me? :P

The way the collectibles work in iOS versions of the game is identical to the way they work in the desktop versions. One thing to keep in mind is that the iPod is a whole lot smaller than a typical computer, and the collectibles are much harder to see on them as a result. It's very easy to miss collectibles, particularly the ones that tend to blend into the background.
