I'm just wondering out of curiosity since I redownloaded VV4 (I had bought it like more than a year ago), the version on the main menu says 1.00.02 while the file I downloaded says 1_00_01c, 1.01c probably.

The title page did say developers edition, so I assume it is the latest.

I know. The reason why I was curious was because the file that I downloaded had a different version name than what it says on the main menu.

The version number in the name of the download file is usually very generic, when it appears at all, and does not reflect the actual version number of the game. You have to refer to the menu screen to determine the actual version number.

Yes it is. I'm sorry for the confusion. The point I was trying to make is that if you recently downloaded the game (any game) from our Web site, it is the latest version (in VV4's case, 1.00.02).

The download file names are vague on purpose, so that we don't have to keep updating links when we update the game.

Is there a page I can go to to see what updates there were (numbers) and what changes were made to the game in any update?

The reason is that I'm currently playing an old version on purpose, because it allows me to have a wide screen ingame. I want to know what changes were made in the updates.

The most recent change, Mbee, was in 2014 to make the games compatible with Windows 10, like I mentioned in your support.

There should be a "Read Me" file that is in the bank of files (after you run setup) that Arthur writes to share what changed in that version.
