Hi i have just purchased vv5. So far so good. I am just wondering if someone is making mods yet. I'd love a mod similar to virtual families that puts a big colourful square around all the collectables. I am finding it hard to see them in betweent keeping the pesky heathens away from the wood pile.Thanks

We will be creating a mods forum later this week. I know of one person who is starting to make mods.

That would be two people doing mods. ;-) I have a hard time seeing the collectibles because I'm color-blind to certain shades, so I always do glows around the items. Can someone please tell me, what's that third mushroom all about? I see it on the list of collectibles, but have NEVER seen it in the game!

That third mushroom has appeared in all versions of VV and never been used. The consensus of forum opinion is that it was used in an early release of VV1 - possibly a beta version - but was removed for some reason. Someone once found an old site giving a walkthrough of VV1 that mentioned it as a sort of "super red" mushroom.

It would be nice to have a mod for the Villager Detail Page, that puts lines across each of the skills to show how close they are to reaching their next skill level.

This was done in earlier games, and I think especially in VV5 it would be brilliant.

If your villagers are Esteemed Elders, it's a bit hard to see how close they are to be a Master of a skill.

Hi, I just had a go at making a mod for the collectables. When i went to upload it i noticed that someone had not long posted a collectables mod. Oh well as it was my first ever mod (you can tell) i decided to upload it anyway. Thanks to all that replied to my original question.

i want someone to re-design the huts feel free to add more mods

My suggestion is that after all the puzzles are solved, etc. To keep the game intersting and going, it would be nice if we could blow up the huts and rebuild them somewhere else. Give the young adults something to build other than polishing the stone. Or maybe we could upgrade the buildings, etc.
