NEWS: Virtual Villagers is shutting down on August 28, 2010.


Dear Virtual Villagers Players,


Facebook games are a new experiment for Last Day of Work. Our desire to bring a game to public testing very quickly, along with the practice of bringing Facebook games to market while they are still being developed has been encouraging but has also left us scrambling to try to bring the demanded feature additions and bug fixes to the game in a timely manner.

Together with 3 Blokes Studios we have made the difficult decision to bring the game down to reassess what was working well, what was not, and approach the project with the calmness and eye to perfection that we traditionally apply to our desktop projects.

We would like to thank everyone who played Virtual Villagers, and everyone who gave us feedback - we're very proud of what we achieved in the small amount of time the game was up.
