Can someone tell me what tech levels I need for fishing, please? for fishing you need: level 2 science, cause that will give you the clothinghut, once you have build this hut you can cut the vines and cook them into cloth, needed for the nets. so level 2 science thats all

Females can breed at any age in VV4. No need for that.

this what you need for the grand feast fill pot with fresh water, add heated rock, have villager add one white herb, one yellow herb, one red herb, then food from the food bin. Then you need a mushroom, a fish, a cooked fruit, and some berries - all of which can be added in any order. Last, more food from the food bin. Drop your villager on the pot and it should start the feast! By the way, pulpy vines are not needed. Hope this helps.

I find that, once the stew is ready, if I drop 3-4 people (kids or adults) at the stew pot, the rest of the tribe will stop what they are doing and head for the pot as well.
Laurence: Are you sure you need a crab? I never have needed it.

The grandiose feast is essentially the same as the Grand Feast puzzle ( Puzzle 11), but with more villagers. All the villagers should take part of their own accord, although remember that babes-in-arms aren't counted. Another thing is to avoid the temptation of picking up and dropping a slow-moving villager on the pot in hopes of speeding things up. In fact, that will result in resetting the feast: all the other villagers already served will lose their bowls and will start again. There is the danger that the timer will run out and all the food will be gone before they are all fed. BTW, a crab is definitely not needed.
