Hello....
I have searched with every combination of words that I could think of and have spent a couple of hours going through posts, so I apologize if I have missed something that answers my question. I bought my VF game through comcast.net and would like to be able to have several families going at once. Is there any difference in being able to do this by buying the game there, vs through the LDW site? I'm not as computer savvy as I would like to be, but I'm trying.

Hello EHesse, I just did a quick search for you too. Many posts talk about running more than 5 families so here's how to use the 5 player slots available in the game. Try this. If it works EXCELLENT. If not, it was painless. If my response was unhelpful then it can always be deleted and my feelings won't get hurt.

1. When you first open the game you should get a screen that looks similar to the one below.

2. Click in the Current Player box to begin creating a new family. Just type a name in there, select Play and you're on your way. Continue this process until you have the number of families you want, up to 5 families.

3. To play with each of the families you can access them the same way, by clicking in the Current Player box and selecting with family you want to play at that moment.
