Here are my last two entries. I really like the clothing that looks like tribal wear, so I did two tribal dresses. I did the second one in blue also with different trim, but since we can only post three entries I had to choose between the two.

There's been a lot of great outfits entered. Mine are no better or worse than the others. I entered them for the fun of it. I sincerely wish all of you who've posted entries good luck. I hope you win...If not we had fun anyway. Big hugs!

Both dresses are made from sueded leather and trimmed with the downy feathers from Isola's tropical birds. I want to thank our little VF friend who so graciously agreed to model them for me.

Thanks Lyssaria! It took me forever to come up with anything. I knew I wanted feathers but couldn't decide on the style for the longest time. I'm glad to have them done. I really wanted to do a male outfit but just couldn't come up with anything.

That's really funny, it shows how we think alike! I was trying to make a tribal-inspired dress and thought about the feathers and how I really wanted to do something with those.. and ended up making the entire pattern of the dress based off of 3-4 feathers tied together upside-down.

I really didn't, but I love the pattern. That dress is beautiful enough for a girls prom night.

I'm going to go back to look and see if I can see the feather pattern. You probably should have pointed it out to us when you posted it.

That's a good point! I was hoping it would show its tribal inspiration through the colors and the little villager I chose to represent it with the headband Oopsy!
