If the leak starts after they've begun their action they'll ignore it, then run around in a panic as soon as the action is finished. Yesterday I had the mother and father both working on their careers in the kitchen when the sink started to leak, and they both totally ignored it at first. They both finished about the same time and started running about like headless chickens, calling out "Oh! Oh!" some minutes later.

I've never noticed that but will be sure to next time the sink leaks.

I get a real kick out of how they act when something happens to the house especially when the keep doing it after it's fixed.

I wish the game was set up so that, after they have fixed leaks/put out fires multiple times, they would know what to do when a leak/fire starts. It irritates me when, after dealing with a leak/fire numerous times they still just jump up and down in a panic and say "oh, oh" when they find one, like "Oh dear! What do I do now??"

I have had them ignore the groceries before to sit down and eat. I was thankful for that, because I just wanted them to eat so I could go to my own kitchen and grab a bite.

I like the parts of the game that make them dependent on me although it can be inconvenient sometimes. Seeing a 10 year old child jumping up and down saying "oh, oh" is different from seeing the more seasoned adults doing that.
