I cant believe it I actually found the ball. I was at my wits end. Now I have peace. I have one in all 5 of my families. I guess it doesn't take much to make me happy.

Thank you Lyssaria, and thanks to everyone who posted hints, it took awhile but i finally figured it out.

I have decided there is no reason to have more than one ball per family, as you can only play with one at a time. If you attempt to put a second ball onto the screen, the first one will disappear. As far as I can see, to accumulate red balls simply takes up space in the tray that could be used for other things.

I have 2 red balls in 1 family, and 1 red ball in the other 4.

I keep one red ball in my tray and if I come across any others, I put them somewhere around the house or yard. I keep one right outside of the shed.
