The underlying image is the same in every preview image (as Carla stated earlier). The "hole" in the black "cover" moves to different places on the image. Is that the answer that everyone is looking for?

Close, but I don't think that's exactly it. From what you're saying, (and what I'm inferring, I guess), the circles are in the correct placement on the square. So, we've found the answer anyway!

I think it's all in how you look at it, Krystal. If you had a black cover with a hole in it and put it over a fixed image, as you moved the hole around, you'd see different parts of the underlying image. That's what's being done here.
