Well, (and this has been brought out several times before), it says that the game is coming out in the first quarter (Q1) of 2009. 12 months in a year, split that into four (a quarter) and it's three months. January, February, March.

I know what Q1 means Krystal I'm just anxious is all. I have a hunch that LDW has good intentions of releasing it before the conference mid-month. I was off work yesterday and had hoped it would be out before then, but no such luck....

If I remember rightly (without searching the forum) the first glimpse we got of VV3 was in a video of a presentation by Arthur to a conference ...

I've been amusing myself over the past hour or so by re-reading the Virtual Villagers 3: The Secret City Video thread. It's been good fun reading all the posts from those (including me) impatiently awaiting the release of VV3. I don't think anyone died of impatience!

It was also interesting reading the guesses about what the game would contain: some were spot-on and some were wide of the mark. I'm sure once (if!) a video of VF is released we'll get another similarly long thread.

its so hard to be patient when all i wanna do is play VF! i think about it when i wake up, all day, and b4 i go to sleep! i dreamed last night that it was finally released, so when i woke up, i ran to my computer and realized its not! it was sooo disappointing!

I probably might not buy the game but if it has like those 1 hour trials i WILL try it!

I too am getting anxious to play VF. I hope it is really soon. I wish that bar would move too. I am so excited. I have played VV1, VV2 & VV3 so much I cant take it anymore. I wanna play VF soon! I love the games but would love to play a new game.

Arnie, I think thats exactly when we'll see a video of VF. Arthur will probably release it at the conference and then post it on the website. Hopefully the game will be released shortly after that!!
