When it was VV3, it told us VV3 wasn't announced until it was at (from memory) 60% completion.

You are correct, arnie. You can see Carla's post here. These are when the progress bar updates for VV3 were made: 60% January 7, 2008 70% January 27, 2008 Official press release announcing VV3 February 6, 2008 80% March 9, 2008 90% March 13, 2008 95% April 3, 2008 99% April 25, 2008 100% May 14, 2008 (VV3 was released) As you can see, the progress bar does not move in a linear fashion, and it's not possible to infer from the movement of the bar exactly when the game will be finished. We just like to give everyone some idea of our progress on a new game, but game development rarely progresses smoothly, as you can see from the dates above.

I think that thing I did made LDW release VV3 early, or the ppl who *done that thing* will get angry. sorry...

(just a guess)
Updated version:
08/07/03=10% 08/08/10=20%(38days) 08/08/25=30%(15days) 08/09/11=40%(17days)
Avg 23.33 (I'll count that as 24)
My (Simple) Guess: around the start of 08/10=50% around the end of 08/10=60% middle-late of 08/11=70% around the middle of 08/12=80% around the start of 09/01=90% around the very end of 09/01=GAME DONE(near Chinese new year!! offtopic:Im going back to china for Chinease new year.)
My other guess: You can see before its 38 days, but then 15 and 17 days, so 10% (after)should be only 14-20 days. That could make the game released xmas, or new year. But, anything could happen...

I can anticipate an avalanche of enquiries if the progress bar for the new game reaches 60% and it's not yet announced what it is. Barbara and Carla: I suggest you only advance the bar to a maximum of 59% unless you're ready to announce the title.

I know an estimate of approximate calculation an idea of how the progress is going. I think we've had four of those now . . .
