This is a fun one if you want a good laugh: purple + purple + orange. It gives your villager the hiccups and they walk around the village hiccuping and when they do, they kinda pop up in the air. it's a riot.

I "think" these are the basic formulas for potions in VV3. I may have missed some, but I tried to be as thorough as possible.

VV3 BASIC POTIONS (without the special herb):

PLANTS: C=cactus R=rose B=black orchid L=lotus T=tiger lily

CCL = bad stew
CCR = bad stew
CCT = nasty it’s bitter
CLL = RESTORES HEALTH BAR
CLR = feels light & springy! USE TO REACH HIGH OBJECTS (diamond door key)
CLT = very hungry
CRR = bad stew
CRT = Blannesamagawa loomajoobamooga!! (? Villager goes a little stir crazy until potion is gone?)
CTT = Nasty! It’s bitter
LLL = villager goes into a trance
LLR = villager feels fertile
LLT = oh no, Hiccups!
LRR = Happy feet!
LRT = bad stew
LTT = Nasty! It’s bitter
RRR = villager feels romantic
RTT = Whee! What a fun potion! (Acts like a kid)
TTT = Whee! What a fun potion! (Acts like a kid)

blew up on me as well @ level 2 Alchemy. Thankfully it didn't kill my chief just dropped his health significantly. Mixed up a lotus, lotus, cactus and fully restored.

I try out all my potions on younger untrained villagers. Sorry low villagers on the totem pole. Also, does it matter the order of the ingredients? Will the same three ingredients always have the same outcome (once you have all your alchemy)?

You are correct, fineline, the order of the potions does *NOT* matter.


Orchid, Cactus, Rose would have the same outcome as
Cactus, Orchid, Rose
Rose, Cactus, Orchid, etc.

(the above just an example)

Cactus, Cactus, Rose= something smells yummy!

Maybe can use it to paralyse the clam?

It seems each plant has certain properties i.e Tiger Lilly for fun/happiness, Cactus for health and Black Orchid for sickness/weakness.
