How do I tell if a fish is pregnant in FTDS?

I think I have mated fish, cannot tell if I hear the kissing sound. Status stays the same and I don't get little fish.

I have also noticed that these fish eat alot more than the PC version.

When you click on a fish, you'll see a little notebook page displayed that gives information about the fish. The fish's status (e.g. Normal, Pregnant, Sick) is shown at the top of the notebook page. Using the isolation tank can take some getting used to, since it works a little differently that in the PC or PDA versions of the game.
