I have to agree with you on this one Gamey. grin Although I have played Sims I found it very boring...maybe it's our age, you think? wink Plus I do not like how you have to micromanage the sim game. And when I heard LDW was doing a Sim game I thought oh great. frown But the more I think how the VV games work (and assuming this will built similar) I'm thinking I might just like it. cool Patiently waiting. laugh

From LDW's press release:

(My emphasis added.)

I agree about micromanaging. In The Sims you've even got to decide when the Sim can go to the bathroom.

Not to burst your bubble, but if you look at the (now locked) Happy Holidays thread, the date has been changed to the 1st half of 2009.

Well in thread where they announced it four days ago they said:

Quote:
Virtual Families has been in development since mid 2008 and will be available for download in Q1 of 2009 with an estimated price of $19.95. For more information, please visit www.VirtualFamilies.com

So that is the most current release date. But with that said they'll have to bust their back sides to get it released by the end of March...but they can do it. grin

The sims are kind of boring but if you put it on freewill they do whatever they want and you dont have to control them all the way.
