Jonny, as Xay asked, have you changed your computer's system clock to play the game faster? Also, have you used any kind of "trainer" or game cheat to help you get tech points or food more quickly?

If you make a villager drop one of the alchemy items, it will seem to disappear, but it goes back to its original location. You should try looking there. If you've used a cheat utility, however, your game might be damaged. We've already seen one case of that with another player.

Did your game crash around the time this happened? Did the problems start precisely when you bought the Nature tech, and everything was fine before that?

Thanks. We may need more information from you. In the meantime, would it be possible for you to preserve your savegame files for us? If you're running the Windows version, go to My Documents\LDW and right click on the folder Virtual Villagers - The Secret City. Then select Send to=>compressed (zipped) folder. Save that zip file in case we need it.

But I play in Nature Faction (level 2) and my villagers fish among the sharks! They are not away!

I've seen that as well, Laurence, in one game. Do you remember, did rainbows or green clouds appear when your villager 'got rid' of the sharks?

It seems to me there was the world "repellant" because I didn't know what it means \:\/

There is a _bug_ there, laurence. If you had taken a second villager to the potion to take it to the ocean, there's a good chance that it would have worked correctly. If you like, you could make that potion again and see if it works correctly the second time now. \:D
