Check the Alchemy Potion List in the guide section

The explosions have nothing to do with the recipe. If you look at the description for Alchemy Tech (click the "?" next to the Buy button), you'll see that the explosions are a possibility, for any potion recipe, until you have purchased L3 of Alchemy Tech.

Just noticed it not only matters what level of alchemy that makes potions less likely to blow up, its also who makes it. I had an adept scientist make something and she almost died from the explosion, but a master made the same thing and it was fine.

3 cactuses= health

3 black orchirds= explosion

black orchird 2 tiger lyles= sleepy

Where are the berries located once you've gotten level 2 Magic Faction? I thought they might be where the pitch plant is but they're not there.

At one time someone asked if the lotus-lotus-rose potion would make a villager over 50 fertile and I do not know if anyone answered but the answer is YES. I had a female villager who was 52 who used the potion (she was also an Esteemed Elder) and became fertile but we did not have room for any more babies so I do not know if she would have conceived or not but she did try.
