So along the same lines it takes a jalapa maranta and a spotted reptans to get bluestar astera? so If I need a bluestar aster to make the jalapa maranta how am I to make the blue star aster without the maranta? I got this off the magickal plant thread.

Spotted + Jalapa is the only way to make bluestar with the starting plants, but you can make jalapa with Spotted + Citrus.

I should add this:

Reptans + Maranta is the only way to make an astera with the starting plants, but you can make a maranta with reptans + ball cactus.

Funny... I ended up with a Bluestar Astera with no idea how I got it.. hehe. When I figure it I will post it.

lol, cool. There are many ways to get certain plants, such as a bluestar astera, but many of the ways require plants that are not easy to get.

I haven't read through all the 30+ pages of this thread so I don't know if this has been asked before. Right now I'm on page one trying to figure out if I can make a nox orchid.

How do you get an arthurium and a venus flower? I'm having trouble getting tier four seeds and am very confused to what the system is. I have one game where I breed left and right and mutate when I can afford it just for the fun of it and another where I do everything very methodically and record my findings so I still don't have a great knowledge of how the breeding works.

For the nox orchid, if you look at the PT Guide, Jazzo and Charley have done some really good guides.
To have a tier 4 plant, you may mutate a citrus to have an Arthurium, and a ball cactus to have a Glaber.
But also, don't forget to keep an eye on the seeds that are in the supplies!

My head is whirling from all the possibilty charts -
think I will just keep playing with the plants and have fun and along the way when I find a magic one it will be a sweet surprise!

Crossing a Jalapa Reptans with a Citrus Reptans will produce the Four-Petal Reptans that you need.
