I just had a girl assigned the name Bikini. (I am NOT making this up.) It's now Bikina, since -i is a masculine ending in my tribe's language.

(NOT funny: The feminines are -e and -a, w/ the guys also getting -u, -o, and the consonants. All this based on the very first names in my VV1 and my practice since, which turns out to match the large majority of the program's random picks.)

Also, the woman originally labeled Pickle, one of the founding members of the tribe, immediately became Pikle, getting rid of a) one of the very few exceptions to the consonant patterns otherwise used by the generator and b) an annoying distraction.

In an earlier tribe, Kayak became Kayaku merely to avoid annoying me. I had no problem with Truk, but his son, originally with the identical name, is Truku.

P.S. My M.A. is in Linguistics. Life does influence one's gaming.

Wiki - Master Scientist - Dislikes Learning (Ironic, huh?)

Cola - No Skill - Likes ants (Cola brings ants around, right?)

Spok - Master Scientist - No likes/dislikes (I have nothing to note, minus his werid hairdo!)

Pickle - Master Farmer - Likes green ( I also changed her clothes to BE green!)

Pichu - No skill - Likes yellow (Everytime I think of him, my first thought is of a Pichu Pokemon!)

Obi, Wan, and Kenobi - Master Builder, Master Farmer, Master Healer - No Likes/Dislikes (My first ever triplets came from two villies I named Padme and Anakin, I sooo should've seen that coming. >.<)

Ive had Bikini too, and Pickle, also Cola.

My chief is Akuaku. One of my original women at the start of the game was Hula. I changed it to Hila because I didn't think Hula was a very dignified name for a Master Scientist. I had trouble taking her seriously. Her daughter's name is Raiatea, which I really like.

My funny ones are popo and hoto.

If Pichu honors the guiding hand often rename him Pikachu, and if Pikachu finds a crystal rename him Raichu

I once had a girl named Pickle . She looked just like my chief, Cola, which was confusing at first. Cola is a funny name too.
