I don't know if anyone said that but one of my villagers was ill and I had a choice to either operate on him or leave him alone. I chose operate and he died, so I'm guessing I should have chosen leave him alone.

It's more "one choice allows for partial recover, another choice takes a gamble and either saves OR kills."

It's more "one choice allows for partial recover, another choice takes a gamble and either saves OR kills." Kind of. The 'correct' choice is not consistent - the operation can fully recover them or kill them, and letting the illness run its course can allow a partial recovery or kill them. Personally, I always choose to do the operation; either choice can kill them, but only the operation gives them a chance for a full recovery. If I'm going to gamble with lives, I'd rather gamble all or nothing.

I've had 2 myself. One was Wax A hole is found in your hut. How do you repair it? With Bee's Wax or Tree Sap? If you chose Bees Wax you lose some of your Honey. If you nuse Sap, you lose a Tree! I was Lucky, I got all the honey before this came up.
I believe it only damages the comb or the tree; I've never had this event, but I assume this will either lower the amount of food it regenerates, or simply remove some fruit or honey from the tree or comb.

When my 6yr old chief grew up, my trees stopped fruiting and no rare collectibles appear when he points (yes I've searched every time). Its one of those odd things which happen randomly, making the game even more of a challenge.
