Yes, the whole UI is the same, right down to the mask. I guess that the new one is still being developed. I seem to remember that the early screenshots of VV2 'borrowed' VV1's interface in the same way.

Well weve all had the event where the strongest build a raft and go in search of the old village. so these are probably that group of *strongest* that took off and found a new place.

And anyone notice in the second picture there is acually two children, one small child holding onto the female and the other female is cradling an infant. and that guy beside her oh man that cracked me up he looks positively giddy to be tossed around by that nasty storm. the others look scared to death, but hes smiling and laughing.

I think the artist was given a particular scene to depict, without knowing all the exact details. I don't think we can rely too much on the details of that pic. In the intro to VV2 he shows the lost kids and the villagers who fell down the waterfall meeting and one of the kids is carrying a spear.

I'm willing to wait as long as needed since that will mean giving the LDW crew as much time as needed for the best game possible! But that doesn't mean that I'm not looking forward to playing VV3!
