He or she would have to be GC-like in order to move the boulder back and forth (as I can't figure out how they'd sneak in to get the berries from the bush without moving the boulder) or to magically create food. A slightly frightening possibility.

the gong is restores after they leave, so that cannot be the artifact that is restored, and I really doubt they mean the temples restoration in vv1.... practicing magic could be the GC, or both clues could point to another village yet discovered by us

Look closely at the rock pile. See how it branches off in two directions? What if it's actually two paths and one of those paths leads to VV3???!!!!
