(Spotted is always at the top of this list the rule is, you can make things that are lower than a selected plant, but not higher. Since Spotted Reptans is the top, it requires itself to make and is useful because it can make anything below it, get it?)

how do you make the purple rose ??

It's not used in the game, although AtarahPern made a graphical modification that will allow you to breed it. This portion of the Plant Tycoon Guide contains the mod and instructions for installing it.

DW also has a series of mods, one o which changes Rosaceae to the purple rose

Help: I have searched through this thread, I am completely stuck and I cannot mutate the tilia plan; I have all the baccatus and lower tier plants with the exception of some spotted, and painted plants (I have found 455 plants).
Problem with mutation: tried mutating the baccatus and arthurium plants and spent $20K and still no tilia

The best chance you have of getting a Tilia is by mutating a Baccatus, but even then you may end up changing the foliage instead of the flower, or you may get a Lilia instead of a Tilia. With each mutation there is only a 25% chance of getting what you want. The best thing to do is to plant your greenhouse full of Baccatus and mutate each plant once until you get Tilia.

yep VST is full of baccatus seeds; now selling the fabled lemonbush to generate more cash. I had tried mutating each plant 4 times as the VST chart lists four possible mutates (to and from) but I end up with everything but tilia and it is changing the foilage as well - and I have been watching for the rare seeds but I keep getting ananas, orchid and scandens in the bottom box. (every day)

It worked Woot! Have just mutated and reproduced 6 of the tilia plants. Now I can get some sleep so I don't lay awake pondering a solution. thanx a bunch

How can one produce a Bluestar Scandens?
